Penny Daniels
Penny has been with St Mary’s NHS Treatment Centre since its opening in December 2005. Initially she was the Lead Nurse for the Minor Injury/Minor Illness Unit until 2009 when she became Hospital Director, responsible for all services at St Marys NHS Treatment Centre, Havant Diagnostics and Guildhall Walk Diabetic Retinopathy Programme (the diabetic retinopathy service ceased to operate in December 2015).
 
Previously, Penny was a Nursing Sister in the local Emergency department but has varied NHS experience as an Operational Manager and Senior Nurse for Orthopaedics and General Surgery.

In August 2014 she became Hospital Director for the Royal South Hants Minor Injury Unit and in March 2016, she became Hospital Director for the Southampton NHS Treatment Centre.

There are approximately 475 employees working across her five sites and Penny’s role is to support the smooth and successful running of all services.

Deb joined Care UK in April 2010 as Service Manager for Brighton Station Health Centre.

In May 2012 she took up her current role of Operations Manager which now covers 3 sites: St Mary’s NHS Treatment Centre, Havant Diagnostics, Royal South Hants Minor Injury Unit.
 
Deb’s role is to ensure the smooth running of all services, which includes outpatients and day surgery, diagnostics and the minor injury and minor illness service at St Mary’s Treatment centre and the Minor injury service at Royal South Hants. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, she is also the Lead for Health and Safety across the 3 sites.

Before joining Care UK, Deb managed a GP practice on the Isle of Wight. She has several years’ experience working within both primary and secondary care sectors. She has also worked for financial institutions and the Royal Navy as a Contracts Manager.

In her spare time she likes to dance both ballroom and salsa, and enjoys the occasional jog.

Tracey joined Care UK in November 2014 as the Diagnostic Imaging Manager for St Mary's NHS Treatment Centre and Havant NHS Diagnostic Centre.

Tracey qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer in Portsmouth and has worked in various settings including both NHS and Private Healthcare, as well as Mobile MRI units.  
Prior to this Tracey worked in industry carrying out various management roles in both training and sales. 

Her current responsibilities include working alongside the Lead Nurse for the Minor Injuries Unit at St Mary's, ensuring the smooth running of the patient journey, safe clinical patient services and making sure clinical protocols are adhered to at all times.

Laura joined Care UK in October 2016 as the Lead Radiographer for St Mary’s NHS Treatment Centre and Havant NHS Diagnostic Centre. Working alongside the Diagnostic Imaging Manager at both sites, Laura and the team ensure the smooth running of the diagnostic imaging services.

After graduating in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography, Laura started her career working in two NHS trusts on the South Coast, including one of the South’s largest major trauma hospitals. Laura credits this experience with helping her improve her anatomy, positioning and technique knowledge which she continues to use in her current role at Care UK.

As a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society of Radiographers, Laura has always been passionate about care. She wants to make sure all our patients have a positive experience and receive the best possible treatment in our care.

Charlotte joined the team at St Mary’s in 2007 and undertook a number of roles before becoming our Patient Services Diagnostic Administration Supervisor in 2016.

She manages a team of 8 people and their main duties include keeping referrals within KPI’s, sending reports to GPs and ensuring the smooth running of the diagnostic service for patients booking appointments.

Charlotte enjoys the challenges of running the administration side of the diagnostic imaging department. She’s passionate about getting patients booked in within a timely manner and making sure all patients leave happy after their appointments.
